Through the niche, you are taking up your floor space, because you also have to be able to access the niche in the kitchen. I strongly recommend actually planning this kitchen space.
And also the furnishing of living / dining with walking paths to the terrace from the kitchen.
The idea as always is to swap living/cooking, which also creates a quieter corner. As the hallway is currently, it might be narrower too, but it’s not easy to judge because intermediate dimensions are missing in the floor plan.
We have an appointment with the kitchen planner on Friday. Exactly to either bury or finally decide on the points kitchen niche as well as kitchen door vs. floor space.
True, the hallway could be narrower. Honestly, the hallway is only wider so that it benefits the living room wall in the north. Mhm. Do you have any ideas to improve that?
Swapping kitchen/living is the classic. However, that is not an option for us because we want to enjoy the view facing south from the living room and don’t want the kitchen to be so dominant/central.
