I have now combined the old plans with the new ideas, as suggested. Yellow is demolition, red is construction. I hope this is okay and easy to read.

Where is the entrance supposed to be? Back in the podium? I find it otherwise consistent. I don’t like the kitchen at all: a boring ballroom that promises many unnecessary steps.

How do you want to work in the unnecessarily large kitchen? In the evening, you fall into bed dead tired because your legs have given out.

Measure the kitchen area a bit better, wall lengths are missing.

something like this would make sense, with or without doors.

Dear people, please don’t forget, we are here in the existing building. I actually think that’s quite good. I’ll just ask cheerfully, what’s the deal with the pit? Does it have a solid foundation on which you might build an anteroom? If it can be used, I would think in this direction (or depending on the size, variations of it): I would still give the outside stairs a roof, or you could just enclose them right away. Of course, that’s a matter of cost. Regarding the missing wall in the living room, I have a bit of structural concern. Without a beam, that probably won’t work. But I think a double door would suffice. I would hardly or not at all change the basement. Why do you want to tear everything out there? That would be a structural mess. Take the best room and make it nice as an office – I would lean towards the laundry room. (How does the window actually fit with the terrace there?)

The "empty space" is the attic and not the basement!
