Floor plan optimization for a two-family house

I don't see a two-family house here. The floor plan is the biggest mess, probably mainly due to the attempt to integrate the garage, which among other things comes at the expense of "Bad 2" with its strange location. The bedroom is disproportionate in size compared to the rest. For their Tetris rooms, the children will disinherit you. The storage room placed like an atrium earns at best a point for humor. Build yourselves a nice house with professional help, and then hang these floor plans in the guest toilet for amusement. The 45° chamfered recess in the floor plan clashes aesthetically and technically with the shed roof. I'll spare the "constructive" criticism here, as I share Yvonne's assessment that the spatial imagination (both 2D and 3D) leaves much to be desired.
