Floor plan optimization 155 sqm single-family house

We know that you are building a bungalow ;). It is not cheaper than a regular gable roof house. However, I agree with you on the rest.

A more efficient room layout in the bungalow will probably cost just as much as this floor plan. Besides, you have a lot more roof surface for photovoltaics and rainwater cistern (if desired). What I am building is irrelevant :cool:

What I noticed on this occasion is: The kitchen not only has very little counter space, but also too little space in between. Only about 60 cm between the sink and the island, can that be right? I would advise you to start with the kitchen planning before the floor plan is finalized.

See post 5, it was already said that more space will be planned there. The island can also be moved further to the left without any problems.

- The electrical box will definitely be placed elsewhere in the utility room, as there must be a fall area of 120 or 140 cm in front of it.

- Living room: mark TV spot. But there is none.

The former is even dimensioned separately.

Regarding the latter, the window could be moved further downwards on the plan, then there would be enough space for the TV on the wall.

Around the dining area or at least on one side, I would plan sliding doors, otherwise it would be too tight for me.
