Hello,

next year we want to build a bungalow on our 1000 m² (20m x 50m) plot in the Meißen district.

Our house is in the first planning phase 11.5 m wide and 17 m long. We want to build without a basement, the attic space should be prepared for storage purposes (OSB boards or tongue and groove boards).

We have 3 children (1, 9 and 14). So usually there are no "standard floor plans" available.

The wall between living and working should be a drywall. This way we can remove it later and enlarge the living room.

Where else can we optimize?

Far from the garage to the entrance (I personally don't find it bad)
Dimensions would be interesting
Children's rooms 1 and 2 I don't like (corner hoses)
The hallway becomes very dark at the back.
5 people and one shower might be hectic in the morning
Access to the living area I find very hidden and winding
Living room looks onto the kitchen
Would possibly skip the cloakroom, make the hallway wider and make the children's room square instead.
Pantry is somehow very prominent and an obstacle for daily life - you always have to walk around it.
HAR/utility room with 9 m² for 5 people somewhat small.

First of all, I would swap Arbeiten and HAR. I’m just saying, washing machine, dryer, technology – there is a certain level of noise, and you will hear everything through the wall. I find the dining area too small. Don’t you get visitors where you might need to extend the table? I definitely find the bathroom too small and narrow for 5 people. If someone is standing at the sink, no one can get past. Why does it have to be a bungalow? There are such nice houses with 2 floors, where the parents are downstairs and the children have their own area upstairs. Often with the option to convert the whole thing into a two-family house. How old are the children?

oops. Ok. Whoever can read is clearly at an advantage :-)

What about the 1-year-old? Is a stroller still needed? Where will it then be placed?
