Is it possible to furnish the room sensibly with an open kitchen? For example, I am missing a wall for the TV.

I just experimented with the variant and simply cannot get a reasonable bedroom furnishing into the now larger room. Either the wardrobe blocks the window, or you fall into the bed from the door. The "original" bedroom is smaller but can be furnished much better. Then maybe leave the kitchen and bathroom as they are. Then the children's room would simply be bigger and far away from the bathroom?

The rooms are not permanently assigned, maybe the tenants only have one child and want an office or one of the children is already older and wants their peace or or or....

Well, 94m2 should be enough for 3. For 4, I now also see it as too tight. Unfortunately, I don’t really see an option to (visually) enlarge the living room. Maybe the part of the wall to the kitchen next to the widening (probably structural) could be made half-height. Then you would also have a kind of counter to the living room.
