On the ground floor next to the entrance is the HAR/storage room for the house connections, the heat generator, and the hot water tank as well as a storage room. Upstairs is the utility room with washing machine, dryer, ironing board, drying rack, and additional storage space.

A third bathroom would also mean another bathroom to clean. In addition, my wife works in shifts, so you hardly ever get in each other’s way.

We are also considering possibly changing a few floor-to-ceiling windows to normal ones. Likewise, the type of passage between the dressing room and bedroom.

I think since you both probably get up at different times, separate dressing rooms already make a lot of sense, because it would bother me if my husband turned on the light at 8 in the morning to get dressed (and possibly make noise) when I had just come home at 6 in the morning. It’s clear that the bathroom also needs to be cleaned, so I wonder if it wouldn’t be more sensible to enlarge the study and turn the bathroom on the ground floor into a toilet and place the second shower upstairs, or do you often have guests who would then shower on the ground floor?
