Hi. But then I do have exactly the hose I'm trying to loosen... ;)

What kind of hose?

This protrusion has zero functional use but causes effort and costs. I also don’t know what is visually eased when you walk through the door towards such an edge.

But that’s for you to decide.

Hi.
By "Schlauch" I mean the living/dining area with the dimensions 426*976. The bay window (you mean as a protrusion, right) just breaks up the living room a bit. I agree with you that it doesn't really have any functional benefit. But I have been in many such houses and it always seemed to me like a long corridor. We always liked some kind of bay window or similar and wanted to somehow incorporate it.

But as you already say, it's expensive bought space. That's why I'm here looking for help and alternatives.

Attached I found this as a template. Here there is also a bay window somewhat like the way we imagined it. I don't know the exact measurements in detail, but I fear that 10.50*9.11 won’t be enough here. The staircase is at the beginning, which with me would mean that my toilet with ventilation faces the garage... hmm... is that a problem if you are going to install a ventilation system anyway?

By the way, I always thought that this type of staircase was the "most floor plan friendly"....

Oh, I thought the hose referred to the children's room.

If you really want such a bay window, you can also plan it in with Variante 1. I don’t think much of it, but it’s your choice.

The bay window in the last plan brings zero functionality.

I would prefer your variant 1 and pull out the upper floor [OG] as far as possible so that you at least have a small covered terrace.
