Hello, the idea is to combine a garage with direct access from the house with a carport and a storage room (crosswise at the front). The first draft (see attachment) is already available. All 3 "rooms" will be built solidly and equipped with a complete roof (flat roof). The carport is open both in the driving direction and on the outside; only the walls to the garage and to the storage room are solid and closed.

Now my questions:
- the floor of all 3 rooms will be made of B25 steel fiber concrete -> would you have it cut because of cracks etc.?
- we have many bicycles as well as motorcycles, so would you completely remove the wall between garage and storage room (currently there is a door)? They would of course be stored permanently in the storage room during winter and should be protected as much as possible from moisture (wet car)
- would you put the trash bins under the carport (corner)?
- the access to the garden and the terrace would be ONLY possible through the garage and the storage room besides through the house; do you see this rather as an advantage or disadvantage?

Best regards & thanks.

hm, open to the neighbor? I see that as a "corner dirt hazard" for leaves etc. blowing in?! Who knows how neighbors maintain/prune their deciduous trees etc... You can talk openly about the front, but such a dirty corner wouldn't be mine - then rather leave out the wall to the neighbor and the garage (which would somehow render the G-door absurd)... Why not a double garage, possibly with separate doors (one large for the car, one as a bigger door / e.g. 1.50 meters wide)?

Would do it the other way around. Carport on the house and garage on the boundary with the neighbor.

Why? That way I save a wall and can use the garage as a party room ... ??

You can do it differently too. I just don't find it nice and practical if it's open towards the neighbor. As Baupaar already writes: the dirt blows in there and/or the neighbor's hedges grow over and you risk them scratching your car. Sooner or later there will be a wooden fence there. Of course, if the neighbor's garage is already there, then you can also do it that way. Personally, I always find a passage to the garden practical without having to fetch 2 keys and open 2 doors first. Besides, in muddy weather, you end up carrying the dirt into the storage room.

As said: swap carport and garage, make the storage room a bit smaller (maybe L-shaped), so that you can get to the garden through the carport.

Are you even allowed to build 9.50 m on the boundary??? To my (lay) knowledge, a maximum of 9 meters is allowed on a boundary.
