I quite like the house design with regard to the described wish list. Integrating the garage into the basement is an elegant solution. On the one hand, you don't want the house to be too big in order to keep everything cleaner later on, on the other hand, there is sometimes wastefully much space without "function" like in the entrance or the dining kitchen. There is no rule about half or full basement. Build the space you need/want. A half basement is more expensive per square meter. As you may know, I don't believe in calculating by square meter price. The house can definitely tolerate some asymmetry from the outside, I wouldn't stress about making the kitchen possibly less practical because of the windows. On the contrary: you can also approach that with some flair and creative design. I find the ratio of cooking/eating to living unhappy. It seems as if a wall had to be placed there that is oriented to the conditions of the outer wall. I would definitely improve that and not accept the outer wall as "given". The bathrooms should work. The bathtub in a rounded corner allows comfortable access to the shower. That a shower can become a storage room with older children does not correspond to my experience with 2 boys in late teenage years, who are at most averagely tidy.
