That will be added.
Basically, it would bother me if the chill area is the passageway to the kitchen. Therefore, I would swap the kitchen and living area and adjust the rest accordingly.
I see it exactly that way too. But that's what the utility room/pantry with the possibility of being a passage was for, so I could come to terms with it.
The previous plan was the other way around.
Then it gets tight again upstairs with the master bath and dressing room. The stairs have to be changed again, and the kids' bathroom is further away from the kids' rooms again.
Spaciousness, however, doesn't play out in the basement. I would rather build generous comfort on the ground and upper floors, a nicer utility room, a small kitchen in the pantry, a laundry room upstairs, and do without the basement.
For us, it does, since everyone has their own spacious study and additionally another hobby/fitness room in the basement.
The alternative would then be to extend the house by a meter.
Chimney on the upper floor?
I think that in the place where it goes up, it can be integrated relatively well.
