Hello Sambori, I have a few questions about the concept: why plan a "single-story" bungalow when you enter the house through the basement? Either you enter the house through the basement or via an outside staircase. But a staircase is unfortunately necessary because of the sloped site why build an expensive granny flat if the goal is cost reduction? who is supposed to live in the granny flat? One room for everything except showering, but a large storage room instead. And that with a ceiling height of 2.30 meters. the storage room can serve as a bedroom with an appropriately sized window Why are you dealing with this floor plan when your price limit was already exceeded in the first estimate (!) it is not, since the costs for own work have not yet been taken into account by the architect and accordingly have not yet been deducted. Regarding the floor plan itself: I find it terribly cramped because everything is squeezed onto one level. All bedrooms lead off the living room, no one has privacy. And when guests are there, no one can sleep peacefully. There would be the option to close off the living room with a wall. Sorry, but I think I would start from the very beginning. Cancel the granny flat, move a few living rooms to the basement (e.g., the children's bedrooms) and reduce the size of the house somewhat. The idea is also to bring my parents to live with me later.
