I understand that too, but it will still take some time until the building application, and the design statute is available and is supposed to be adopted at the beginning of 2025. However, I have an appointment at the building regulations office at the beginning of November, where I will ask whether a 5m distance would also be feasible. That would certainly have some advantages, also because the plot becomes somewhat wider towards the back, and I could really use a few extra centimeters of safety with the planned 9m house width.
