You know my suggestion. I am in favor of the straight hallway.
But I am open to the suggestion from .
I just stumbled over the stairs again ... clear room height of 265 cm will result in a floor height of around 290-295 cm.
I consider a 300x225 cm placeholder to be too small or it will lead to a rather uncomfortable rise or very shallow tread depth.
Here are the sample patterns ... for a floor height of 280 cm, which is also only from a "private user" CAD program. I just played again with a stair calculator on the internet. Instead of 300 cm, I would rather calculate 330 cm ... 16 to 17 steps.

The starting point was also a longer stair length.
At first, it is also only an assumption/placeholder after a phone call with a stair builder and the question about a staircase that has a bit less length but is still easy to walk on.
The exact dimensions cannot yet be set in stone anyway...
I just used a stair calculator again:
With 16 rises, a floor height of 300 cm with a 35 cm ceiling, the calculation results in approximately 290 cm length on the ground floor and 310 cm on the upper floor.
Example here:
Tread 26.3 cm, rise 17.7 cm
Of course, it can always be more comfortable, but then compromises have to be made in the width of the
ground floor living spaces or the hall/hallway width.
My current stairs have 27/19 and are more than easily walkable
