Floor plan design in Lower Saxony

I have a spontaneous suggestion for a change to the upper floor. The room shapes would be clearer, and the dressing room wouldn't feel trapped. Also, I find the bedroom in your floor plan too narrow. 3m minus a 2m bed leaves 50cm on each side to the wall. I would make the hallway a bit narrower; I think 2.5m would be sufficient, and you can use the space well in the rooms. The windows would, of course, have to be adjusted. Whether everything fits in detail would naturally have to be checked.

I liked it out of recognition because basically you have thought about it quite cleverly. Unfortunately, there is not a draft with a few flaws here as a whole, but one that in my opinion can only really be saved by a fresh start.

I also think 2.5m wide corridors are overdoing it. 2m is more than enough if you don’t want to fill them with cabinets/couches. Better to make larger living spaces from the gained area.

Well, for us, the stairs plus the railing take up a width of 110cm. With 2m, only a remaining 90cm would be left. That would be too little for me, since you also need to pass each other and transport furniture through. But you’re right, you don’t need a full 2.5m either.
