Since the old thread is pure chaos, I am opening this one anew:
Development plan/restrictions: No development plan, first inquiry to the municipality with positive feedback.
Size of the plot: 884m²
Slope: Approx. 1.5m gradient over the building width from north to south. Flat towards the street in the south.
Number of parking spaces: 2 garage parking spaces
Number of floors: 2
Orientation: Eating/cooking to the south
Requirements of the builders
Style, roof shape, building type: Urban villa, hipped roof
Basement, floors: Basement yes, 2 floors
Number of persons, age: 2 persons aged 27 & 24, planned total 4
Office: family use or home office? Home office
Guests per year: few / couch sufficient
Open or closed architecture: open, living room separated by room divider
Conservative or modern construction: modern
Open kitchen, kitchen island: open, kitchen island absolutely necessary (aesthetic reasons)
Number of dining seats: large dining table for 8-12 persons
Fireplace: yes
Music/stereo wall: 5.1 system for TV
Balcony, roof terrace: no
Garage, carport: garage
Utility garden, greenhouse: yes
Further wishes/special features/daily routine, gladly also reasons why this or that should or should not be
Living room is only used for watching TV, south orientation not necessary
House design
Who designed it:
- Planner
What do you like particularly? Why? All wishes are included in the plan: straight staircase, laundry chute, wardrobe next to the front door, pantry, kitchen island
What do you not like? Why?
The middle window on the south side is quite close to the bay window.
Cost estimate according to architect/planner: 430k
Preferred heating technology: air heat pump
If you have to do without, which details/extensions
- can you do without: chute
- can you not do without: pantry, kitchen island, straight staircase
Why is the design the way it is now? Countless drawings from us, which the planner based on.
Which corresponding wishes were implemented by the architect?
A mix of many examples from various magazines, our ideas and our stubbornness ;-) ,....
What do you think makes it particularly good or bad?
We find it very successful but are also grateful for further suggestions
