I was just at the structural engineer's and we should make the two walls load-bearing anyway. Therefore, they must be at least 17.5 cm thick and that settles the matter anyway.

Why do you think it wouldn’t?

I don’t understand that – especially making both load-bearing at the same time – nor could I align it with the ground floor (?)

I already said that nothing is settled by wall thickness.

That's what the clever saying "White and red don't mix" is about. Different settling behavior = cracks.

KS interior walls with non-KS exterior walls I would classify as a "proven and tested experiment." I would have no reservations about that.
