What should be included in the planner’s price estimate and where in NRW is the construction planned? Rhine regards

I like it!

But who will be your neighbor? You have the house, but you are still not alone.

There is definitely room for a bathtub upstairs in the bathroom, you just have to rearrange.

Thank you for your comments! We thought about the bathtub for a long time. Of course, we now have one in the house. It hasn't been used for over a year. Clothes are hanging over the edge and it’s getting dusty. The tubs that I also like visually cost a five-figure amount. And then not use it? We'll see....

We are building in Flamersheim, Euskirchen district. That is the amount for a turnkey house.

My parents are moving into the granny flat. That's why it is so big and tailored to my parents' needs. (2 bedrooms are important). When my parents are no longer here, we'll have to see how to proceed. Possibly the boys will move in there and we will have a lot of space for hobby rooms. Or it can be rented out and the garden separated. In the very distant future, my husband and I could also move into the granny flat and the house could be rented out.

Five-figure amount for a bathtub o_O I already felt bad that ours cost a little over four figures... I can see that if I ever have a lot of money, I will have to do some consumer education... :D

Well, I once saw 2 freestanding ones, they were very nice. But including fittings, installation, and accessories, €11,000. No thanks! If I look further, I'm sure I'll find cheaper ones that I like. But for now, we prefer a nice, large shower.

Yes, measurements would be nice. In the pictures, the rooms first look huge, but when you see the square meters, you can roughly estimate the rooms.

Tell your planner that each apartment needs exactly 6 sqm of storage space/room. This was exactly taken into account by us, also the EU building authority. Doors are, I think, 1 meter wide. The bathroom in the granny flat is quite small. With 2 residents in their mid-60s, just consider whether you can get everywhere easily with a wheelchair/toilet chair. And keep in mind, when using a toilet chair, there are always two people involved.

On the upper floor, at first glance, I thought I had to puzzle it together first. It takes a while to find your way and assign things properly. I imagine it would be fun when you have to transport, for example, a mattress into the master bedroom. :)

I would not plan completely without a bathtub. Especially with small children, who sometimes get sick or come home soaked, so straight into the tub. ;)
