First kitchen planned - questions about the design

Could you imagine leaving out the wall cabinet to the left of the range hood? It looks much better without it. When you come through the door next to it on the left, you will be glad that the area is open and you have a clear view.

Yes, I could imagine that. Although it is only a mini-door to the pantry. The tall cabinet is actually just a leftover from the initial planning when the extractor hood was still in the middle of the kitchen unit and the same number of tall cabinets was planned on the left and right.

Doesn't the planner say that no sink should be so close to the edge? There is probably no warranty on the countertop (and sink?) if there is no distance of at least 10cm between the sink and the edge of the countertop. :(

This has nothing to do with warranties but with the fact that when you actually use the sink, you won't scrape your elbows sore because of the small distance! ;)
