The current vehicle will be returned in October. Does that mean only the pre-existing damages will be reimbursed to us over the term? The leasing is an all-inclusive lease for a Polo. I am doing this through my partner's father via VW. Monthly costs will then be around 300 euros.
My partner's father works on the assembly line in the factory with night shifts. My partner's mother works in the gastronomy sector. They both live in one house.
The more I read the threads here, the less convinced I am of this idea. There was once an idea from my partner that the father would contribute a sum of 50,000 euros, but he wants to be registered in the land register at 50%. But that does not suit me at all! I only want to be registered in the land register for the property with my partner.
The landlord is 71 years old and the landlord’s partner is 61 years old.
The clarification regarding the costs for the house for maintenance is not yet resolved.

Yes, you can, but then a condominium.

Katja, however, has I think 500€ more income and probably doesn't finance a vehicle for 350€.

So just stick to apples when we talk about apples and don't write about a pineapple here.

And no, the forum is not full of double-earning academics. Even if it seems so. The standard out there will be that at the latest next year. What is currently demanded of us is, to put it mildly, unmanageable with 2 training jobs. 127sqm with a cellar on 570sqm and 20 years old for 980k€. Surroundings of Nuremberg and not MUC.

The apartment where we live is 110 sqm with a 150 sqm garden. Unfortunately, before we moved into the apartment, we completely renovated it. This cost us 8,000 euros from our savings. The leasehold is set for a term of another 60 years.

That should render any discussion unnecessary. Thanks, but no thanks!

Pampering grandchildren does not mean buying a house or a pony. It means taking them on vacation (if financially possible) or buying ice cream or small presents. Parents should not be seen as cash cows.
