How old is your landlord? Calculate how much rent he could possibly save. The house costs significantly more than the 310....

Are you allowed to mortgage the house to that extent?
My previous leasehold hut could only be mortgaged up to 70%, meaning significantly more equity was required.

Also, for the reasons already mentioned by the previous posters, this is probably not a project that should be implemented...

This arrogance is really disgusting, sorry. No wonder our society is becoming more and more divided. When I read something so pretentious, I really get angry. I have no understanding for that, sorry. Back to topic: You might need to provide a bit more input so that the value of the requested right of residence can be roughly determined. Based on the numbers you have provided so far, the project seems rather difficult to realize. How old is your landlord? What is the current average cold rent in your city? Could you possibly get support from your family? Would marriage be conceivable for you in the foreseeable future? How long is the car financing still running? What is the final installment? Can you prospectively move up a pay grade in the TVöD? At what experience level are you?

Calm down! This has nothing to do with arrogance, but with a well-meaning piece of advice. When I see that with the comparatively low income a car is being financed at €350 per month, or seriously considering private leasing as a sensible and cost-saving alternative, then there is simply a lack of fundamental understanding. That is not bad, some may just not have dealt thoroughly with the subject yet. It can still come. But as of now, I see no chance for any kind of home ownership with that income and the supposed lifestyle. And I have honestly never been called pretentious before. Thanks for this new trait.

Well, but the two are still quite young and have probably never really dealt with something like this. It would be helpful to maybe do a bit of calculating and get the OP to check the math themselves. You sign up for a forum like this to use the opinions and knowledge of others for yourself. That is already a good approach.

And here we are again. A project that you cannot afford on your own, but what are parents for? Yes, to milk them financially. For me, that is rather disgusting.
