I would be careful not to want to do it differently "by force." Nowadays, the special thing is rather classically straightforward. What used to be just the ugly bay window (oh dear, I of course had one too) or the particularly shaped roof tiles is now simply something different. For the roof, I would prefer classic or simple in form and color (perhaps also cheaper), for the plaster courage to use color (whether gray, green, or red....) but with strength, and maybe a differently colored splash of paint on the front door and the carport/diamond shape again brightly colored. So color on the carport rather than on the roof would be my favorite. An exciting, really large plant in front of the house. We had tried all sorts of things back then and (unfortunately in part) also done them, up to the green bathtub with particularly rounded sinks and bright red fixtures.....unimaginable today, back then straight from the trade fair into our house. I mostly found it endearingly crazy but actually it was just crazy and expensive too. It's like many front yards, where you often get the feeling that you are walking through the Hornbach exhibition. Here too, I prefer individuality without guidelines. Concrete ceiling/wall can certainly look nice, but having it plastered afterward would not be an option for me in case of emergency. Maybe you let everything be plastered first and then try yourselves partially with color/design, which can be more easily corrected if necessary. Nowadays there are wall coatings in concrete look, natural stone, wood, or simply huge wall pictures, etc....... For me, "less is more" would rather apply, but where I set points, it should be strong and boldly visible.
