I know, but I see it in the summer and every time the sun shines, since our house stands alone, I can beautifully see every side with the moving sun. -.-

That's right – the dim light of a bedside lamp is not meant, but merely a cloudiness that does not let the sun's rays hit straight like arrows.

I feel the same. On the other hand, it doesn't require any special eagle eye and suspicion or floodlight; normal sunlight is enough to recognize the defect. I consider the defect to be clearly limited to the appearance, i.e., no technical defects as consequences are to be expected – however, as a visual defect strong enough that you could not sell me the house on sunny days.

My conclusion is therefore: a price reduction in the order of a comparison of about half the costs for renewing the topcoat is appropriate. And in other words: therein I also see the standard to which expert costs must be proportionate.

As I said, in the summer I see it constantly, we want to meet again with our developer and discuss it, unfortunately I don't have much hope because the developer is really only focused on his costs and wants to complete each project as quickly as possible. A settlement, as you say, in the amount of half the renewal would now also be an option for us; according to an offer from an acquaintance, that would be almost 3000€.

This is the developer business model: buy free land, slap a house on it, sell the developed plot. Business, no romance.

Nonsense. Chatting and drinking tea is the opposite of the business model just described. Draw up a comparison offer (legal advice doesn’t hurt), that runs completely without any cuddling.

Unfortunately, none of it helped, the lawyer says that if it was built according to DIN standards, there is not much that can be done, and the developer and subcontractors refer to the DIN.

... it should be stated in the DIN that the edges of the panels are to remain visible through the plaster
