Actually not. That was our very first thought, but we discarded it. We wanted the living room facing south, since there is also a garden there. And now we have only swapped the bedroom on the ground floor for a kitchen. We followed our gut feeling. There aren’t many possibilities for room layout with this floor plan size. At least not without major costs. We also already had a plan with the entrance at the left corner of the house. But that didn’t help much either. :(

But the thing with the walk-in closet is correct. We will move the wall a little. Thanks for the hint.

Yes, that’s true, since we don’t have a basement.

Sorry, I don't think that's nice. Upstairs there are only long, narrow rooms (except for the bathroom), which are difficult to furnish. You really don't have any special demands that you need to reinvent the wheel. There are thousands of (beautiful, functional) standard floor plans on the internet.

Good evening,

you probably won't like the answer :D

It looks like a VI plan from the colleague green competitor and would explain why it comes across so carelessly.

If the framework conditions of the plot do not oppose it, it should become a KfW 70 efficiency house with an air-water heat pump. What the solar support is supposed to achieve then is not clear to me?

That is absolutely not true; on the contrary, the external dimensions of the house body allow for many design possibilities. Attached you will find the ground floor of a single-family house handed over 1 year ago with almost identical external dimensions. For our clients, the office on the ground floor was mandatory; you could assign it to the living room and later – in old age – reopen it again via a drywall partition.

We realized a similar floor plan with a straight staircase; even there, more beautiful rooms result in the upper floor than in your example.

Sorry, but you asked me...

Rhenish regards

Thank you for the honest opinions. They help me more than if everything was sugarcoated. Thanks for the tip. I'll have to think about it again. ;) Now I'm curious about the responses from the construction companies. I wonder if any of them will be honest and share their opinion.
