He posted it then, but if you could only cultivate in the north, unfortunately, there isn't much to get from it.

Oh, I had overlooked that, thank you. Then the question about the age differences of the children. If one is already older, I would bite the bullet for a few years here.. until the oldest moves out for university, it might not be that long after all?

Before you spend a lot of money: would it be an option to temporarily separate the living area as a bedroom for you?

That is certainly not an ideal solution, but ideally the two younger ones would stay in one room for another four or five years and the oldest would find his own place at 18 or 19. Then it would be only a few years with that arrangement.

Alternatively, if it is technically feasible, I might also consider enlarging the storage room on the upper floor at the expense of the current children's rooms. Then they wouldn’t be 15 sqm anymore, but at least all the rooms would be located in the same part of the house.
