If I do it myself, I pay not even half.
200 euros for the steel mesh
10 euros for the binding wire
20 euros for the construction tarp
30 euros for the support battens
I haven’t checked the formwork wood yet, but it won’t be more than 200 euros either.
We need 6.5 m3 of ready-mixed concrete. That is roughly available for 100 euros per cubic meter.

The other one of my steel garages - both uninsulated, by the way, so "stalactite caves" - stands on strip foundations. The others in the row even have ash floors, but several "generations" of previous tenants of mine were motorcyclists, so mine is laid with paving slabs. Flawless, without breakage, without subsidence.

Of seven garages, I had only one with a concrete slab, this garage was solidly built with bricks. The others, even with concrete floors, had only strip foundations.

I consider shuttering blocks to be the most practical option for DIYers.
