What about government subsidies for solar thermal energy? There is a considerable grant for older buildings. Not for new buildings. Where is the limit or the restriction here? Would an installation shortly after moving in be eligible for a subsidy?

That makes sense. Otherwise, you would have to take a gas condensing boiler with an instantaneous water heater for domestic hot water. Without solar, the buffer can be smaller than with thermal solar.

I would then advise you: with a buffer storage adapted to the consumption/household. 150 l is quite little. 200 l should definitely fit.

In any case, you do not need a 300 or 400 l stratified storage tank without thermal solar.

You do have cooling losses of about 1.5 - 1.8 kWh/day, but the efficiency of the gas instantaneous water heater variant is not great either.....

Hello Goldi09111, I would like to hear what became of your house construction. Did it work out to build only with a gas heating system with a ventilation system?
