The entrance is supposed to be at steps 9 and 10? I just counted at our place: step 9 is at about 1.70m, but there is no space for a door there yet.

Our door to the utility room (also located under a staircase) starts at steps 12/13.

Only dwarfs could pass through the door. In such a large house, placing the entrance to the guest(!) WC at such a low height is simply poorly planned. My guests don’t have to duck to get to the WC.

OK, thanks for the note. I will write to my architect about it directly. Let’s see what he responds.

You can see that, but you can also spend money for something of value.

No, and if so, you usually plan a sink in a room with a toilet.

However, the planned furnishing is very important for the design process (indoor-outdoor relationships, sightlines, etc.).

What’s wrong with collecting the laundry where it primarily originates?

And how large is the wardrobe then? In the normal range for hanging jackets more or less than 40 cm? For 4 people + guests in a 320 sqm house estimated slim at 500k? I like the thoughts about the use of the stairs in daily routine.

Sounds more like the willingness to accept low utility value, but that does not have to be the case in a new build.

I have a toilet and NO sink?? I hope you overlooked something there. Since I am not a person with any imagination, I asked my architect for 3D images of the entrance area. These are still pending. I hope my entrance situation will then be clarified. I will attend several kitchen planner appointments in the next 2 weeks. So the kitchen will not be furnished by my architect with me, but he will of course adopt the plans accordingly and, if necessary, adjust the floor plan again. I will also have him put a furnishing option in the living room. Many thanks for your contributions. I’m glad that you really respond critically. Keep it up..

I hoped so too.
Does the "niche" for the WC not have its own door?
That would be necessary to avoid unintentionally informing the sleeper about the digestive state of the legumes. (The door to the bathroom alone is not enough.)
And if the niche has a door, then a sink does make sense...

That is the elongated thing to the right of the entrance door. Otherwise, I agree with you: for 500k one could expect something else.
