The drilling is included. If you do it yourself, you can get about half credited. However, proper execution is required. I would stay away from that.

It probably also depends on who installs it, how the plot is situated, etc. Currently, we have about €2500 for electricity and €6500 for water. For the phone, it is still undecided whether to go with a local provider or Telekom. We hope for the latter. So far, the highlight for me was the sewage connection, which was €10,000. ...but I didn’t expect such high costs for the water connection. I hope beer comes directly from the tap there.

Sewer/fresh water for me was just under 10,000€, which we did not expect either. By now, I accept that cost overruns are just part of construction (especially due to the current workload in the construction industry). So, no expensive offer surprises or annoys me anymore. At the same time, I put energy and more time into comparing and validating several offers in advance to save unnecessary costs. I would be satisfied if the total costs are kept within limits in the end and the house is built with good quality. Every small saving naturally brings additional joy.

I spoke with Netze BW on the phone. Unfortunately, they do not offer anything with photovoltaic. The 120m and 12m cables are no longer needed (if at all 30-40m), since the new building will be connected exactly like the demolished existing house was. This saves me up to €1800 compared to the first offer.

We had empty conduits laid on the property for routing the cables into the house by our civil engineer and were thus able to save quite a bit on expenses. Since the street also had to be opened for our connection, we were able to save money by coordinating the schedules of the 4(!) utility providers (water, wastewater, electricity, telecom) and only closed, opened, and closed the street once.
Anyway, budget with the maximum offer; if it turns out to be less, you will have a buffer for something else – and that will definitely happen.

We did the same. I agree with that too.
