Hello,

I am currently working on the electrical planning of our new building. To be honest, I have never dealt with these things before, so I would be very happy if you could share your opinion on the positioning and number of power outlets as well as anything that is missing or unclear in the drawing.

Many thanks!

Tip:
Provide a socket in every corner. At first, you always think "such a socket will surely look stupid there". But afterward, you only notice the missing sockets!

- Terrace min. 1x outdoor socket + control switch inside
- 1x outdoor lamp + control switch inside
- Outdoor roller shutters? If yes, also provide electric connection here
- Mandatory vacuum cleaner sockets in every room (below the light switch)
- Bathroom: provide lamp outlet above the mirror cabinet.
- Dining room + living room each with 1-2 wall outlets for wall lamps / ambiance
- ...

The plan is still a bit minimalist, but it will improve, I'm sure.

A few bullet points:
For the start of the planning, I recommend a double socket in every corner of the room and one by the door. Certainly none behind the wardrobe, but for the children's room, I would keep it flexible with more sockets so you can rearrange things.
Network is completely missing. Don't forget the position of the access points for WLAN.
Sat is completely missing, in case you need it.
Where is the doorbell?
Maybe some ceiling spots in the kitchen?
More sockets in the kitchen. Coffee machine, toaster, Thermomix, and kettle, and everything is already full.
Are there electric shutters? Decide whether the switches are at the window or the door.
A bit more indirect lighting might be nice.
The position of the light switches is completely missing. Important in rooms like the living room, hallway.

For me, there would be too few power outlets, unless you are a fan of multiple socket strips on a cable.
In addition to the tips from :

Power at the dining table is practical - toaster, raclette, laptop power supply...
Better more outlets by the bed - bedside lamp + space to charge one or more devices
Only 2 power outlets at the desk? - monitor, printer, computer... oops
Ever sat on the sofa with a screen device on your lap and the battery almost dead? A nearby power outlet is practical (great is a floor box under the sofa)
When reading on the sofa, a floor lamp is probably the cozier solution (see above)
No power in the hallway? That’s very economical.
Do you like decorative lights for festive occasions? Power outlets help.
Outside without power is certainly nice but with...
Does your closet get lighting? If yes, where do you get the power from?

Count your electrical devices and imagine where you operate or charge them (bike battery in the hallway?, vacuum cleaner, iron...)

Off the top of my head: Lamp directly above the dining table Sockets near the couch More sockets at the TV Hall at least one socket Kitchen stove connection, sockets for dishwasher, refrigerator, extractor hood, microwave, under-cabinet lighting Switch for the hallway lighting next to each room Switch for the living room lighting also at the patio door LAN socket in every room

Isn't there still a floor missing or where is the laundry washed? Where is the home network / router / landline phone? Otherwise, you can number the lamps and then name the light switch accordingly.

- additional outdoor socket for e.g. electric grill (if balcony)
