A sub-distribution in the garage makes sense, so have the corresponding cables installed. Whether you need to charge your electric car at home with very high currents depends. Often, gentler lower charging currents are sufficient if you come home in the evening and need to leave again in the morning for work. But it depends on the range and the route profile.

We are having a 3x32 connection installed in the garage, but when it comes to [E-Autos] I'll wait and see. With 6d diesel, you will still be allowed to drive everywhere for a while.
