This is what happens with lack of planning and design. Not to mention the execution defects. How anyone can come up with the idea of installing both venetian blinds and roller shutters, fundamentally and especially with different dimensions, together is completely beyond me. It really looks awful.
Do you mean the different depths as execution defects?
After I approached my contact person at the home construction company about the problem two weeks ago, the issue was postponed for two weeks and is now back on track. I would like to waive the warranty regarding thermal bridges, etc. in this area, unfortunately, the facade work has now progressed further, insulation is applied, etc. The contact person now wants to gather all the facts and make us a price proposal. So a change could be expensive. If he had arranged it immediately two weeks ago, when there was no facade yet, it would probably have been less problematic. It feels somewhat like a tactic to me.
Had I known that the venetian blinds would cause such problems, I would never have switched from roller shutters. We only did it on the advice of a friend. In itself, it is also a good idea in the living area; I would have just expected better advice during sale and installation.
