Hi,

there are significant price differences when you buy tiles from the [Fliesen Zentrum] or from the hardware store.

We would tend to go to the hardware store, because the construction service description says 20€/m2.

What differences are there?

Best regards & thanks

Hardware stores are expensive and a service desert. Don’t you have a specialist store near you, something like Harry’s Tile Market here in the North? Advantages. Large, very large selection, quantity calculation according to the construction plan, delivery free to the construction site for large quantities, good prices, salespeople with expertise. A wall tile is available for 19.90, a floor tile, that’s going to be tight. You can also order edge profiles there at the same time. Karsten

Especially with floor tiles for bathrooms, also consider how little you actually need. With just a few square meters, the price hardly plays a role anymore and you can treat yourself a little here.

sometimes I don’t understand you, you save on every little thing and here with the tiles you’re making comments about service!

What kind of service do you want for a piece of fired stone? Delivery service? No problem, they can easily keep up.

As a price example, Heidelberg cement, the bag for 2.4 euros, not available in the specialty store for less than 4 euros.

There are things where it doesn’t matter where you buy them, the main thing is the price is right.

And that brings us back to the tiles, buy the ones you can afford.
If you buy too many, you can return them without any problems... that’s not always possible in the specialty store. Then you always get comments like sorry, no stock items.

The question now is whether you can remove the tiles from the [Bauleistungsbeschreibung] and also receive the €20 / m2 credited...

We also bought at the hardware store back then because we had a lot of tiling to do. The hardware store price was about half of what the specialist store charged. Delivery to the curb was also not a problem. However, transport into the house was not included. The tiler did not do that either, since the tiles were not his.
