Hello,
we are currently in the detailed planning phase of a new build (together with an architect) and just can’t decide on the last detail.
Specifically, it concerns the upper floor. In front of the bedroom is a dressing room. In the original plan, it was arranged so that you walk through it along its full length to get to the bedroom.
Our concern was that the dressing room would become narrow and corridor-like and you would always have to walk past all the wardrobes.
Now there is another option: the dressing room rotated by 90°, so that you walk through the short side. But this requires changes in the bathroom and makes the hallway area bigger (wasted space?).
Which option do you think is better? I am very curious about your opinions, and thank you in advance for any feedback!
Attached are 2 sketches with the floor plans.
