I would not perceive the difference to 2.50m with the naked eye.
to reach 2.47m, probably 10.5 courses of bricks are used, so you could also use 11 courses of bricks and then have at least 12.5cm more room height. For us, the increase was not that expensive (we had one whole brick more), it cost 1000 or 2000 euros. Best regards Sabine
I don't find 2.47m dramatic. Sure, higher might be nicer. But be careful with supposedly "affordable" increases. The staircase then becomes longer... and everything related to the staircase can overturn the entire plan.
to reach 2.47m, definitely 10.5 rows of bricks are used, so you could also take 11 rows of bricks and then at least have 12.5cm more room height.
I interpret your calculation as a capping stone in 2DF plus ten rows of jumbo format, which would be 2.47 m assuming about 15-16 cm floor construction. Of course, you could also make about 2.60 m by adding another row of 2DF on top. I merely meant: I am used to 2.50 m and if I had 2.47 m instead, that would be a difference of 3 cm that I would not notice with the naked eye as an estimate, and in everyday life I don’t go around the apartment with a tape measure (nor do people who are a bit weirder).
