Measuring over the head? - I'm over 50 and no longer take all imaginable contortions entirely guilt-free

So I definitely think 2.52 is sufficient. Currently, in the apartment, we have everything between 50cm and at the top 3.5m. I hate it. You can't reach anything and to me, it feels like a hall. My wife thinks it's great. We once measured 2.47m and think it's OK. So I find it cozy. And when I read about the staircase, we'd rather leave it as is :0

It always depends on the room. Upstairs, for example, we have 2.55 and for the rooms (~13 m²) that's completely fine and looks cozy. Downstairs we have a long room (~11 x 4) and you can definitely notice the low ceiling when you stand at the end of the room and sometimes it feels a bit oppressive.

Let's be honest: with a relatively low budget, the last thing discussed is the story height, provided the planning is based on the [Norm].
