Better just easement. Cutting off a pipe stem as a parcel from 22 m "width" is hardly enjoyable.

what a waste of space and fragmentation of the garden. I would also push the house as far forward as possible, and place the terrace at the back. That way you get nice shade. For cooler days, you can then set up an extra seating area in the back garden... ah... nice... I would like that too. Here there was only enough space for a south-facing terrace, which is nice in winter, but already too hot for me in a normal summer.

Ours are slightly northwest-facing. You only have to shade very rarely

well, she wanted a zoning of the garden among other things for different uses such as free range for chickens and growing her own fruit and vegetables and a west terrace (or south) was also very much desired and I can understand that. and the property is just so big/long, that's just how it turned out, there weren't any smaller ones in that development area it was only meant as an example for the OP
