Banks:
Dr. Klein Advisor: was right at the beginning of the planning and at the start of the divorce. Advisor’s exact words: "only when divorced or divorce settlement agreement is available... so no chance for now." Ok, maybe the wrong timing...

DKB/broker under the umbrella of DKB: "no, it won’t work. stricter requirements for acceptance etc." Although I think this was also due to a calculation error by the processor.

Independent broker of a general contractor: here I couldn’t follow the calculations anymore... in the end I had offers where an inexplicably high equity capital was set by the broker. Sometimes from one conversation to the next I had the feeling he wasn’t listening at all!! Result: I broke off talks!

I could name and add one or two more things... but I’ll spare myself that...

Certainly the initial situation is not easy, but it can’t really be unsolvable.

Can you send me a direct private message....

That is true. Without an agreement, a divorce can remain an unpredictable risk. Financially at least.

Sounds more like a problem with the advisor and not with your situation.

Send me an email at ... @t-online.de It is a spam address, as you apparently have too few posts for PMs. I check it from time to time and would get back to you.

At that time, there was no way to get hold of a divorce agreement follow-up.... the other party is a bit problematic. Factually, only the final court date for the official divorce remains. No maintenance claims or the like will be made against my wife.

Mail is sent..

Thanks!

Wait for the divorce. For you and the bank, it is not foreseeable whether the future (ex)-husband might suddenly have claims to the property/house...

Morning, first divorce then financing. I see the risk with you. You are the solvent party in the story :)

Why a house specifically? Maybe I overlooked it, but do you rent out your property or is it being sold and you are bringing in the equity?
