that is all completely clear to me. we are probably talking past each other. currently, the circulation line only serves the upper floor with shower + washbasin on top with line x. now, however, this line should no longer go directly back over the pump into the tank but should first run 10-15 meters through the ground floor with a branch to the kitchen and passing directly by the washbasin in the guest bathroom. part of the line (namely from the T-piece in the ground floor to the washbasin in the guest WC) is even one size smaller because the sanitary installer designed it only as a branch line during execution. the smaller cross-section should not matter since only the washbasin in the guest WC is connected as a consumer and the circulation pump as a low-demand consumer. it looks different, however, with the overall supply line. the line on the upper floor should accommodate 2 consumers, but now there are 4. of course, one would have to speculate when all 4 consumers are needed simultaneously and where the hot water would cut out first. nevertheless, it is an aspect that must be taken into account. as you already said, it will very likely work. overall, it is about whether it is really necessary to tear everything open in the hallway when the variant in the guest bathroom can be implemented much more easily and with fewer errors.
