What did you install? Washbasin on a base cabinet or why was that a problem? I was actually planning to simply screw the base cabinet directly into the drywall pre-wall (double-layered). Do you see that as problematic?
We have a double washbasin and sometimes you also lean on it. With the original mounting, after a short time the toggle anchors came loose with double gypsum board  hence the substructure. An OSB board behind it doesn't really cost much!
It is too late for an OSB board with us. But we also have a wall-mounted washbasin. So the wall only has to support the cabinet, no washbasin and no support.
Yes, I don’t really understand it either. But that’s how it is. The standard washbasin costs about €150 with the accessories. I think you can accept the loss. Especially when you compare that the washbasin we prefer costs up to 60% less elsewhere. Aren’t the drain and angle valves generally mostly standard?
It depends: there are production countries that don’t have our standards. Is that price for Ikea? With our standard sanitary ware, we could choose between two types of washbasins (countertop and wall-mounted). We then took the countertop and had a 160 cm board (EL) installed on site with the plumber for €50, and we got the supports ourselves. Later, we installed Godmorgon ourselves as a base cabinet. So I would always consider plan B and C. Pinterest only shows what you search for ;) although there is much, much more.
