So, 1) I wrote a factual post based on my own experiences, in which I express my opinion about my controlled residential ventilation system. I wanted to point out to the OP and all interested parties that such a system can also have its disadvantages. I can (and will move out and build myself, the rent is only temporary) – whoever builds with it may possibly be tied to it for life. In short: I wanted to help.
2) I have to listen to #31 "@sir: Please, if you have no idea,.....". Everyone knows how the Dieter Nuhr quote continues. What am I supposed to have no idea about? I find it an outrageous impertinence that a factual post with the intention to share experiences and possibly prevent others from making a wrong decision gets such a reply! I neither said that decentralized controlled residential ventilation is fundamentally bad, nor about the one I have. I described technical details that are true and meanwhile also supported by quotes.
3) As you shout into the forest... I certainly allow myself to respond to personal attacks with the same rhetorical means. Getting upset that you get the same back when accused of having no idea... where are we, please?
So , you admit you have never dealt with decentralized controlled residential ventilation, made wrong assumptions, doubted my ACTUAL situation. Still, you throw out I have no idea? And then you wonder about my response? Honestly?
As far as I’m concerned, we can settle and forget it, but I am not aware of any guilt. I just wanted to help (even if it is so that everyone now knows what to pay attention to when planning a decentralized controlled residential ventilation system!).
Charmster – well, I think I have explained why I reacted like this. IMO justified. No, I have not searched through Perlenmann’s history, I don’t have to when someone falsely accuses me of having no idea. I have no particular problem with decentralized controlled residential ventilation. It runs at 25% or is off, then it is bearable, but it also doesn’t bring anything. It is ventilated manually as before, only more because the house is airtight. During the viewing of the semi-detached house under construction (was a first occupation), the attending general contractor raved to me and the owner how great it was and you wouldn’t have to ventilate, etc. THAT is what I meant by “sold as a comfort gain.” Of course, I paid nothing for it. I pay my rent and that’s it. I would have taken the semi-detached house even if no controlled residential ventilation had been installed. I regret nothing here and am not blowing off any frustration. When I moved in, the topic of building was not so current yet, so I had not yet explicitly dealt with the various aspects. Now I am doing that so as not to repeat my landlord’s mistakes in my own new build.
I can gladly name the manufacturer; usually, the forum operators don’t like that because they fear warnings from the respective companies. Therefore, my offer is to name it via PM. But since the terms of use do not prohibit it, I will name the manufacturer: inVENTer.
The following setup: Basement: 1x IV14R in the hobby room, 3-stage switch (the rest without, 1 exhaust humidity-controlled in the laundry room) Ground floor + upper floor: controller ZR60-2 Upper floor: 4x IV14R in 3 bedrooms + bathroom (each 2 counter-running) Ground floor: 1x IV14R and 1x IV14-Twin in the open living-dining-kitchen area, (+ 1 exhaust in the WC (time-controlled, manual trigger by button)) Attic: 2x IV14R with 3-stage switch (always running counter to each other)
