Decentralized controlled residential ventilation so expensive?

Morning...

Well, a central controlled residential ventilation system requires precise planning, since the ducts run, for example, in the floor/screed and the walls. If the house is being built with masonry, you can certainly still plan the controlled residential ventilation. Just ask at least two ventilation installers. Whether they can or want to fit the job in on short notice is another question.

Best regards

The pipes / air inlets and outlets should sensibly already be incorporated into the ceiling / floor. The shell builder should know that. It should also be statically checked where what goes and how.

Are you building with an architect? A "carefree" all-around company? Solid construction? Wood?

Let me guess: You told your house builder that you are doing the [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung] in [EL]?

We are building a solid semi-detached house with a developer. Own work is possible but may need to be coordinated with the developer beforehand.

Our semi-detached house will have a full basement, but the controlled residential ventilation with HRV should only "operate" on the ground floor, first floor, and attic.

And who requested the offer for the [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung]? You from your builder or from another company? Who is ultimately responsible for its installation or supervision? Are you planning the [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung] as self-performed work? In this case, the builder does not need to be "possibly" informed, but definitely. At least if it is supposed to be a central system.

I have requested the offer from the developer. I would prefer to have everything from a single source in order to have one contact person in case something does not work properly. The price includes the masonry work, the electrical installation, delivery and installation of the fans with controllers. In addition, an employee of Fa. Inventer will come to balance the system after installation.

Thank you.

Well then, you shouldn't be surprised about the price. With the developer, special requests also cost extra money.

Was only a controlled residential ventilation system requested, or explicitly a decentralized one? You don't even need to request a centralized one then; it will be much more expensive.

And I don't want to accuse anyone, but the fact that the offer took so long doesn't surprise me that much anymore. Now you hardly have any time to order comparisons.
