The more often you ask, the more often there are misleading statements.
I would now say once again, double underlined: not everything that looks like botched work is actually botched, you should also think about your absolute choice of words (botched, building stop...) and not only, if you are too fearful, appoint a building surveyor for the duration of the house construction!!!
If necessary, it also helps to simply read up a bit in advance with some reading material over the Christmas holidays about the upcoming house construction, that is, to acquire some knowledge before questioning everything. As already said: it is a SHELL CONSTRUCTION and not the assembly of a clockwork.
Otherwise, both of you will experience several heart attacks during your house construction ;)

We are building with Euro Massiv Bau GmbH from Duisburg.

I just looked at their website and apparently had already bookmarked it – unfortunately, the local search function is often only moderately helpful in determining if and where I had already written about them. One probably shouldn’t discourage people from them, but I have found better verifiable information about what to think of other construction companies on other contractors’ websites. Here at least there are customer reviews with full names, not just Müllers or Meiers, so they are somewhat verifiable. Unfortunately, regarding solid construction, I only find that it’s supposed to be something great, but there is no construction service description nor any concrete photo references. At least it seems to be a medium-sized company of manageable operational size. I can't assign a clear "B" grade like that, but despite the company name, which rather fits a shady gambler, the company strikes me as solid and down-to-earth.

I had only found unanswered inquiries here in the forum so far, I am happy to try to provide a few more pieces of information.
