Hello reader,
I have purchased an older house built around 1910. And I hope to get some tips here.
Unfortunately, I had to find out that the wooden floors installed are extremely wet and even have mold. I want to remove them now because they have direct contact with the ground and are rotten. Now the question is how I should proceed, what I have to consider, and what something like this costs?
This is how I would do it: Remove floorboards Excavate soil about 20 cm, no basement under these 2 rooms Install filter and then insert foil Create reinforcement and fill with concrete up to about 5 cm below the existing concrete base Insert foil and insulation and then tiles when finished.
I estimate about €2000 without tiles for 2 rooms with about 45 sqm. umbault2.jpg
Would this cost estimate be approximately correct? I would appreciate your comments.
Best regards Denfer
