Hello dear Ikea lovers,
I have no idea if I am even in the right place with my concern, but there are so many clever people here, I thought I’d just give it a try
My boyfriend and I are moving into the apartment of our dreams at the end of November, but the large gable in the dining/living room is giving us a headache... You can see a photo here – unfortunately I had to crop a bit at the bottom, don’t want to violate the privacy of our previous tenant

We definitely have to hang a curtain there, since directly opposite is the cemetery and the church and people can really look right in... The only question is how? From one side to the other it’s 4 m long. I once read somewhere at IKEA that a curtain rod of this length must be fastened not only on the left and right but also twice “along the way” otherwise it will sag. But where should we manage that? We can hardly drill into the plastic windows.
Does IKEA have solutions for windows like these?
Thanks and best regards
Leah
