Not with me. The contractor took care of that because he didn't inform me about the installation time. The door can be well protected or the door leaf can be left out initially and used one for the construction site...

Even a budget provider must have construction management like an architect at hand. That is not a quality feature. Nope... to be honest, I don't know any new build where the plasterer worked around the windows and doors first. The shell is closed first. When the screed is laid, golden rule: keep everything closed for 48 hours, then ventilate;)

I agree with you about the windows. They come first, otherwise a proper RAL installation is not possible. But interior doors ALWAYS come last. Never before the plasterer and screed layer. Exterior doors can be done in both ways; I mostly know it from . Final front door after plastering and touch-ups.

You are speaking generally about "doors" ;) . I differentiated between interior and exterior doors. And gave a good example where it works exactly opposite to how it does with you.

But to get back to the topic. Interior window sills do not have to be installed before the plasterer. You can do it however you want. It's only a visual difference, or for the plasterer it is more difficult to work with window sills that are already installed.

In my case it was an exception because there was a misunderstanding with the general contractor. Normally, they would also be installed before the interior and exterior plastering.
