Why? I once painted a toilet (2 sqm) with Samit. The paint stuck like glue, and that for years (13!), until we moved out. However, it was white – I think there is only a small selection.

Because of the wood stove. The heat is too great and the paint turns yellow and blisters. Tolerates max. 40 degrees.

I believe slides won't like the heat either. I would do it properly once, even if it's a sh... job.

I am a signage technician and we have already covered the tiles at the butcher's counter in several supermarkets (about 3m high and 20m long in total with joints). You only have to clean the old tiles (and if necessary the joints) very well with alcohol to make them absolutely grease-free. If you haven't done it yet, look for foil with air channels (RapidAir), then you can easily get rid of bubbles. You can also get foils from any car foil installer. Furthermore, for example, metallic or ColorFlow colors are also possible. Search for Avery or Oracal car wrapping foils. Heat is relative. A car roof can heat up to about 80° in summer. You probably don’t have that behind the stove.
