A concrete garage 9x3 is not much more expensive either.

Have two offers for my prefabricated concrete garage with the dimensions l/w/h 6.5m/3m/2.5m between 8-10k euros and I am also calculating around 1k extra for the [Punktfundament] just like you...

Try 6 times 3. Then maybe eight with a foundation works. My BU explained it to me like this. 6 times 3 means that you can fit two on one truck and can drive off without special permits. That halves the freight costs compared to large formats. I find the size really spacious. You can fit a workbench, five wall shelves, two bikes, lawn mower, grill, wheelbarrow, refrigerator, winter tires, etc., and you can still really move around inside. Karsten

You can't say now what the ground is like at your place. But you could make the foundations, for example, like this.

Drill the holes with an earth auger. Then, if needed, put thick pipes into the holes and possibly let them end slightly above the ground. Level everything. Then just put in the rebar and concrete.

This way, you will definitely manage with the 1000 € and still have money left over for a few crates of beer.

For our carport, we set 6 foundations. In terms of work, this was very manageable and, with instructions, easy for me to carry out. First, dig holes with a hand excavator, put in reinforcement, build and align a formwork at the top. Pour in concrete, insert post holders, compact, check that the height fits, and done.

I wouldn't have put in any reinforcement myself. Is it really necessary? And does the foundation have to be calculated by the structural engineer? No, right? Regarding shoveling by hand, earth augers, etc., I have to say that there is already compacted gravel on the area, so you at least need a mini excavator.
