Costs for garden

we are currently planning our house construction and we are wondering how much € we should roughly budget for the [Gartenbau] (just a very rough estimate)?

The plot size will probably be about 400-450 m², with 120-140 m² for the house.

Can you share your experiences on how much to roughly plan for the [Gartenbau] (just lawn, fence/hedge) – even if this is very abstract? :)

I think no one can answer that easily for you, as everyone has different requirements, etc. In addition, there are significant price differences in the material and the own contribution.

No one can give you a blanket answer to that. You can burn a thousand, but also 100K in one and the same garden.

Exactly, that is hard to say, what are your requirements? Setting up a 250m2 garden can become very expensive.

Well, it’s going to be lawn/fence/hedge. It’s just a question of what kind of hedge? What kind of fence? There are huge differences. But you should definitely budget 1,500-3,000 euros, depending on whether you build it yourself or have it done.

Facts:

I am making a Thuja Smaragd hedge with 160cm tall trees. Costs 825€ for 25m of continuous hedge including transport.
Roll lawn with soil replacement and laying 2500€ for 150m²
