I don't know if this topic is in the right subforum, but I hope so.

Actually, I have a very simple question: What kind of costs should one roughly expect for the removal of 2 old garage doors and the simultaneous installation of 2 new electric garage doors? The old swing doors are to be replaced with 2 sectional doors.

That heavily depends on the dimensions! Novoferm currently has promotional doors in widths 2375 and 2500, which you can get with a motor for €900 (Iso 20) or €1000 (Iso 45). At the building materials dealer where we recently ordered, there was even a separate promotion for an Iso 45 door, my brother-in-law got it for €900 there. Similar prices can be found at Hörmann, etc. For installation, we pay €450 per door including dismantling and inserting a new bottom rail (including chiseling and screed work). Just as a rough figure, but you have to be careful, we also had an offer that charged nearly double the price for the same doors/services.

So Dacia or Porsche? Or mid-range?

No reliable estimate can be given. We paid 5,500 for two electric gates and a door including installation. Quality upper mid-range.

I just wanted to get an overview to see what others have paid and to assess whether the offers I have are reasonable or exorbitant.

I currently have two offers, one for €4,500 and one for €4,800 for 2 gates with drives, including removal and disposal of the old gates and installation of the new gates.
They should be Hörmann gates with a width of 2.50m.

Then maybe take a look at Novoferm, as mentioned they currently have promotional doors and for a 2.50m door with 45mm insulation you are at €998 for the door and drive. Then installation and removal will be added as well as any extra requests (color, button, WiFi or so).

I did that. The offer for the Novoferm promotional doors that I received, including installation and removal (WITHOUT fancy stuff like Wi-Fi), is just under €6,000. So of course it became Hörmann, with a discount we now pay €4,200 for two promotional doors.
